What are the precautions for using a socket wrench?

2024-05-22

Precautions for using the socket wrench:

1) The opening size of the selected socket wrench must match the size of the bolt or nut. If the wrench opening is too large, it may slip and hurt your hand, and damage the tool.

2) Regularly clean the dirt inside the socket wrench and the oil on the surface to prevent it from slipping during use.

3) Ordinary wrenches are designed based on the strength of human hands. When encountering tight threaded parts, the wrench cannot be hit with a hammer. Except for socket wrenches, other wrenches cannot be equipped with a booster rod to avoid damage to the wrench or threaded connectors.

4) In order to prevent the wrench from being damaged and slipping off, the pulling force should be applied to the thicker side of the opening to prevent the opening from appearing in an "eight" shape and damaging the nut and wrench of the socket wrench.
